Bloomington Meats began back in the 1960's as a custom processing/slaughter plant. From the late 1970's to 2005 the Liesmans, from Atlanta, IL worked at making Bloomington Meats into a custom processing market and retail meat counter, serving fresh meat to the communiy.
In 2005 we purchased the business seeing it as an extension of our farming operation. Our locally grown beef come to the market as wholes, halves, or quarters. Cooperating with local growers, we also bring in hogs that sell whole or by the half.
Manager Mike Tromp has been with the business for over 30 years, bringing his knowledge and expertise to each cut of meat.
We strive to bring you the freshest and highest quality of meats at the lowest possible prices. From bundles, steaks, filets, to over 40 flavored brats, we hope you will stop by and see what we are all about!
